I had expected non-Twitter to be a bigger disruption than it was. This was because I hadn’t considered that my main reason for going off of it was not having time for it. Yes, I have habit-style put “t” into my keyboard, only to remember I am not doing that now. I have had thoughts that formulated in my head as tweets only to remember… right. As a mindfulness (?) practice, whenever this happens I ask myself: who’s the intended audience? Who do I want to be telling this to? If the answer is a specific person I will tell that person. Mostly I find that there is no imagined recipient, but rather these are simply… my thoughts, and could be left at that. Or can they? Reports, then, from the much-healthier irl world:
