Janine Duvitski plays involuntarily celibate Jane on “Waiting For God.” I’ve written about this character before, and have every expectation of doing so more in the future. She’s also Jacqueline on “Benidorm,” a polar-opposite yet somehow the same character, half of an open and adventurous swingers-scene marriage. (Catchphrase used by her husband: “She’s very accommodating.”)
But here, for our placeholder, is Duvitski as Pippa on “One Foot in the Grave,” a show I learned about when it was recommended to me on Twitter. (There’s good on Twitter!) She’s a minor character, a true girl-next-door, neither hypersexual nor hyperrepressed to the point of hypersexuality (at least not as of Season 4), but is of interest all the same because: sweatshirts.
Look at these perfect crewneck sweatshirts! Not only are they just the right pastel shades, but I can see from different angles exactly how they’d look on a woman of my age, build, and coloring. Elusive, however, as 1993 sweatshirts either can’t be found or are not in the greatest condition. (I know as the owner of at least one sweatshirt of that vintage, as in from my elementary school.) Any leads on similar styles would be much appreciated.
