A lifetime ago (2022) I was flown to the very exotic location of New York City, to appear in a documentary about “Karens.” As a commentator, not a noted manager-summoner, I think; the documentary never aired, as the entity that made it went bust not long after the filming. It did mean an otherwise unlikely and mildly glamorous trip (with then-baby in tow), and the jeans I got at the Everlane in Soho to wear while being interviewed remain my best pair. That was a definite highlight. White women am I right?
