I don't know what to do with those tossed salads and scrambled thoughts
Got baby to nap in crib, by some miracle, as versus needing to walk around the neighborhood with the stroller. What do I do with this time, now that I’ve eaten 11am lunch and ordered some cheap stretch pants that come in a length called “short”? I will share with you my thoughts on everything.
-Roe v. Wade, this… does not seem good. If I were in college and this were the course Current Controversies in Constitutional Law, I would have more on the wonkish aspects of this, but instead I will simply say that rather than turning this into a big ol’ battle of gender critical feminism vs trans activism, maybe just maybe the two sides could notice their common ground on this issue and do something, maybe?
-Obsessed with how this moment’s fashion nostalgia isn’t sure if it misses Hole-era Courtney Love or Britney Spears, that is, whether we’re looking at babydoll grunge 1990s with its late-1960s revival, or the early 2000s low-rise jeans era. Aesthetically I prefer the 1990s by a long shot, this despite having personally enjoyed myself more, I suspect, the following decade.
-The house on “Hetty Wainthropp Investigates” is the same as the one on “One Foot in the Grave,” and is evidently the model for all Toronto houses, which in turn look like the one from “All in the Family.” Or maybe, having grown up in and always previously lived in apartments, I think all houses look alike.
-Putin shouldn’t behave as he is. I have tweeted about this, but he just keeps at it.
